Ajar — Vehicle Rental Platform

A vehicle rental marketplace has to work for two very different users at once — hosts who need an easy way to list their vehicles and manage availability, and renters who need to search, compare, and book with confidence. Getting that balance wrong on either side breaks the platform: hosts won't list if it's a hassle, and renters won't book if they can't find what they need or trust the process. The client also needed the platform to handle the details that actual car rentals depend on — location-based search, delivery options, the choice of renting with or without a driver, and flexible payment methods including both online payment and cash on delivery. And because rentals involve two strangers coordinating logistics, hosts and renters needed a direct, secure way to communicate without leaving the app.
